Course Overview

The abstract, ephemeral, and elastic nature of Kubernetes makes capturing observability data challenging. While there are many open-source tools that can address these needs, Kubernetes-based applications generate complex data making it difficult to forward to analytics platforms. Cribl, the Data Engine for IT and Security, empowers organizations to transform their data strategy, enabling customers to collect, process, route, and analyze all IT and security data.

Cribl Edge takes Cribl Stream's power and miniaturizes it for deployment on endpoints. With Cribl Edge, you can collect logs from Pods, observe events from the Control Plane, generate Kube State Metrics (KSM), and scrape Prometheus endpoints.

The course will teach you how to capture data from your Kubernetes cluster using these features.
